Someone needs his mummy…..or is it the bridesmade that think the boy should be more involved?

I am so proud of my sister in law that had the courage to give a speech in her sons wedding. As it turned out, she was the only one of the parents that did. Go Kjellaug….

Let me introduce :
mrs and mr Jan Arve Rangøynes

At least the carpenter knows what to do. The barn-project is coming along just fine. The bride and groom got everything under control, at least they say they do. Looking at the barn….there better be nice weather…
Looking outside here in Bud right now I am not so sure….
I am crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.

Wednesday 25.06.08. Finally, the carpenter has arrived. He will be the judge in settling if we will be able to use the barn as a “party tent” before and after the wedding. I wonder what decision he will be making….
At least there is a boat….if they can through in a vest….and thank gud…there is some timber so the carpenter can make the floors stronger…..

Monday 23.06.08. One day closer to the big day, and it is still not too late to change your mind…..

Sunday 22.06.08. The wedding is two weeks away. Still no panic to be seen. The family has worked hard today cleaning out the barn. You might wonder why they are doing that… Since it is summertime we decided that having the food and the before and after party in the barn would be fun. I am praying for warmer weather.
Tor and Jan.
I wonder what they are talking about two weeks before the wedding?

It is 30 years since we had the last wedding in our family. In three weeks our baby boy are getting married. Ok, so it is years of living together and two children later, but who cares. We are so happy for them both. The wedding results in a lot of big decisions. This is one of the really big ones; can the groom use his navy shoes for the wedding? As I said, big decisions….
It is not as if he used them to much. Proudly he left home for the marines. In the end I think they got sick of nursing him so they sent him home. So here he is 10 years ago, a little younger and a little thinner. Now he is a daddy for two small children and soon to be a husband.

Congratulations Jan to you and your bride! I remember you as a school boy who loved to go out to fish at 9:00 at night – even tho it was very light when I was visiting. My best to you and your family. I hope I have an opportunity to see you all in the future. With Love,

Dear Elin, Your photography is absolutely beautiful. I would be so pleased if you will send me a picture of the bridal couple. Please wish them the very best for me. Also, congratulate Tormod and Kjellog. (I hope I have her name spelled correctly)
