We have started a countdown. The date is May 30, but Linda is leaving for St.Olav tomorrow morning – and a little bird told me she has been feeling a little odd today.
These two are so ready for a little brother:

I also made my page for the Load May 09 challenge:

Playing with kids is a challenge. Do you let them win or do you teach them to loose? My sister in law has a soft spot for this girl and I bet she lets the princess set the rules…

…came to my house with gifts for my piggy bank. I guess I have to keep working. There is no feeling of spring today. It is cold and wet and all in all not a good day. I still feel a little raw after the visit with the dentist yesterday. But, I did finish my page for the seventh day of the Load challenge.

I made this for my People we love – album.

…better come to my house tonight or I will be pissed…
I had the worst morning ever. I overslept with two hours and when I finally came in to work, the computers were down and the fax machine had died and I had the longest list that had to be done before I left for the dentist. All in all – this was so bad that putting my feet up in the dentist`s office to pull three teeth was a piece of cake.

I wasn`t feeling that good when I came home but I did make my page for the Load May challenge. It is so easy to do this when I have the inspiration that Lain and the group is feeding me. This is one of the layouts I need to do for our People we love – album. I am so glad I put my trust in Stacy Julian when I joined her LOM class. Now my pages have a home and I know what pages that needs to be done.
Now – I gonna take two painkillers and go to bed – to wait for the tooth fairy…

…sometimes your best friend is the one you meet from time to time over the years. And when you meet, it feels like you talked yesterday. Nothing change between the two of you.
Now to Day 4 in the Load challenge:

Our February birthday boy tried to sneak out to the hall to open his gift. Lain`s prompt today was to play with squares. I can do that…This did not turn out how I planned it, but who cares about the layout when the boy is cute…

…you have to use every moment you have to get that layout done. Today I take advantage of a long lunch break. Lain`s challenge today was to document the daily chaos in our home. Hm… sure there is chaos in my home, but since I am the only one creating chaos in my home I do not feel any need to document that.
Besides – I might have done that already – more than once.
Instead Lain`s prompt inspired this…

These two are waiting for the arrival of the new baby...
We have a very exiting month ahead of us. The new baby at the top of the list. There is something wrong with the baby, but the doctors are confident that it will be easy to fix. And we all trust them to do just that. Because of that, the baby will have to be born at St.Olav`s in Trondheim and the mom has to go in early because of the distance. I guess dad will need a hand with Elin and Kristian. We don`t worry about that – because we have a GRANDMA…

And behind the camera we have Elin Marie. This we have to endure tanks to sticking the camera in theire face all the time. Sometimes they want to be on the other side.

Day one…
I had a hard time finding inspiration to get creative today. Thanks to Jessica Sprague`s class last night I finally got going. But, I would not have thought of doing this layout without Alijoyc. She was the first one to post in the Load challenge gallery at Flicre today. She made a beautiful layout using the same inspiration. That is the best thing about Load, you find so much inspiration looking in the galllery.

And I bet this girl has grown this last week…
It has been a beautiful day with no work. Celebrating our rights as working people. Having a job is a good thing today. And the svineflu, now called the A-flu, has been detected in Denmark. That does not worry me. Only – I haven`t had the flu since 1983, and one of these days it will be my going down.
It is also 20 years since my father died. That does bring out a lot of happy memories. Looking at that happy little girl helping her grandfather working in the garden points me to a happy little boy, her dad, helping his grandfather in the garden.

Dad and Jan - 27 years ago - in the same garden.
It is all about makeing connections like Stacy Julian has been teaching us in her Library of Memories.

One more baby to scrapbook for. I am so lucky.
Not so much scrapbooking these days. In the moment I wrote that – I could hear Stacy Julian`s voice. She says that everything you do with the photo is a part of scrapbooking. And she is so right about that. To enjoy the photos popping up on your screen, fresh from the camera, is the best part of this hobby. I can loose myself in those happy eyes looking back at me.
Now, crazy me had to enter Lain Ehmann`s challenge LayOut A Day -May 09. May is a crazy month for me at work, but this challenge is so much fun that I had to join. I have made a back up plan though. I have not done anything with the photos from Christmas and New Year and I have room left in my Christmas journal – 6×12 album. That is a good format to work with for the crazy days of May.
LOAD May 09
Come to think of it – I also joined Cathy Zielske`s class at BPS – beginning May 14. Maybe being a little crazy is okay.
