…Elin and Kristian was invited to join grandma and grandpa for breakfast when they woke up Sunday morning.

These two belongs to grandma`s Sunday morning breakfast club and they would arrive with or without an invitation. But – today they were invited. They were invited to go along on a fieldtrip.

Life as a grandparent is a challenge. At least it is when you work full-time and also want to be a full-time grandparent. I think that issuing an invite brings out the best behaviour in the kids.
And one more thing – food and hot chocolate to drink. Also a good choice.

Design – Cathy Zielske. Embellish – feistuff embrace.
Monday – it`s take-off for Shimelle`s new class : Blogging for scrapbookers. Looking forward to that. If I only could solve the mystery of blogging on WordPress using my own domain. The more I read and try the more mysterious it gets. I have almost given up. But, it is no big deal. I am happy blogging anyway.
And don`t forget to sign up for Jessica Sprague`s free class today. I will be doing my Christmas journal with Shimelle but JS always has something really good to offer and I do not want to miss out on that.

…We just realised that Jan and Linda are done having babies. That means that it`s time to put some pressure on Tor and Marita. It may not be a nice thing to do but we will do it anyway. Now – a part of this plan is to gather all the baby gear to let them see that they don`t need to buy anything. Elin Marie love to help:

This girl is ready for more cousins:

She also agree that it is time for uncle Tor to have babies and she promise to help out. In fact, she spent hours yesterday taking care of her doll and Kristian was helping:

It is time for this family to expand. Only – Marita comes from a family with twins…What about triplets? Let`s see if there is room for triplets…

Yes! We can do this!

Okay – maybe we need more practice? But, practicing on the real thing is so much more fun!

…
Our not so little girl any more – was invited to church today to receive her”church book” – just like all the four year old in our community. This special Sunday the church is filled with people and it is all about the children – a lot of children of all ages and a lot of noise…
Most of the kids had to be followed by their mother, but not our girl. She was running and dancing on her way up. She has the right spirit, as the priest said.

So – today`s Load page had to be about Elin Marie. And the page had to be pink – because the girl was pink today. Not just her clothes but the girl was in a pink mood. All girly… happy and dancing…

Cathy Zielske template nr.3.
Back home we spent a little time outside, saying hallo to the horses and the cats. Elin took this photo of her cat Siri. (At least I think this is Siri – if not, it is Tiril…)

…it was supposed to be an ordinary cold and rainy Saturday. Then the good news hit home. This brave girl had the guts to ask this boy to marry her. And the way she did it is so cute. The boy was delivered this cake at work yesterday:
And as the wise boy he is – he said yes. Good boy.

A good decision. Now – she is also a lucky girl because he is the kindest boy I know. I have to say that since he spent his day off – in line – at Ikea for me today.
Thank you Tor Helge! You are the sweetest.
I was up early this morning going into work. Then it was home making today`s Load layout. I found this really cute layout to lift at this blog made by a girl named Sheri Reguly. Never heard of her but her layout is really cute. Here is mine:

Now I am going to browse the Load gallery at Flickr before I take an early night. I can feel that I was up at 5 am this morning…Again, congratulations to the cute couple. I have already made a saving plan for the wedding gift.

…and the most important thing is to be seen by God, was Kari`s wording during Tor Magnus`s baptism Sunday. My hope for him is that he will be seen by everyone who loves him. He got a rough start in life, but he is okay now. He is growing so fast that he is already a baby boy.

…is soon up, but first there is a few things that need to be done. Like getting the house ready. I figure that if I do that now, the preparations for Christmas will be so much sweeter. I never have the energy to clean before Christamas anyway. Aby Garvey`s free class “I don`t know where to start” is a great start to get moving. I have signed up for her next Organizing class as a alumni you get it for half the prize and it works wonders for my motivation. Been cleaning all day.
Talking about wonders. In Jessica Sprague`s class we learned how to work with the magic tool today. Oh I loved that one. It made my day.

Can`t wait to play more with the magic.

This two looks like they are born to sit on the kitchen counter.

Put grandpa on the phone with the assurance company and give the kids some time…what can happen?

Let them out and they will find water…

…and partners in crime creates action…

…this was fun only for so long…

…and big sister takes the lead…

…yes, they are their fathers children.

We have started the last week of this great class at The Big Picture Scrapbooking; The Challenge of Me. Lisa Day has been pouring inspiration our way every week. For a while I was worried that I wouldn`t have enough space in my album. Now I am happy to see that there will be room for adding some layouts later. Lisa really sparked some memories that need to be documented.
One of the prompts this week was to document our political views. For me – this was a simple one. I have never doubted where my heart belongs.

The Norwegian labour party – Always.
Jessica Sprague`s class is coming to an end. I have learned so much and I love that we can go back into the class whenever we want. I am a slow learner and will need to come back. Again and Again. Today we learned how to add colour to our converted B/W. I always wanted to learn how to do that.

A real cutie. I am thinking about this little guy tonight. His baby brother, Tor Magnus, who is 8 weeks tomorrow, had surgery at St.Olav on Monday. For now – everything is looking good and we are so thankful for that.
The kids parents bought a small estate in the middle of nowhere, in the mountains, a few weeks back. While baby Tor Magnus and his mother are still at the hospital, daddy took Kristian and Elin to this place for a first time sleepover today. I wonder how that works out. No electricity, no indoor toilet, no television…But, I am sure this place will be a sanctuary for this young family. Being together without the everyday distraction, hiking, fishing and just being together.

I am not happy about spending Sunday evening planning a diet plan for the upcoming week. Even if I know that eating less and more healthy makes me fit and happier in the end. My change of vacation plans involves a bikini and I need to lose 6 kilos in 6 weeks. It should have been 10 kilos, but I am human and realistic. It is scary that the training program says I should do 45 min on the step machine – as a start, when I feel totally dead after 5 minutes. This will be hard, but I can do it.
I finished my first layout for the family pages in “the challenge of me” class. I do agree with the girls having trouble doing these pages when they are single or have no children. But even the singles and the childless have family. At least I had excellent role models in the mother, father and 2.5 child department…

After last nights wedding celebrations I have been tired and lazy today. That has not been the case for the young ones in the family. For them summer means water and the kids love water wherever they find it…

Yepp – he knows were to go.

And he knows what to do with it…

But…the big sister is ready for fight.
