…at least it was when I climbed out of bed. Knowing that this is the last day of my rather short vacation week, forced me out of bed early. Because this is the day to do everything I had on my to do list when the week started. I am just saying – it is a long list.
I made my layout for the Load challenge early yesterday:

No baby colours for baby Tor Magnus. He will be the youngest of three siblings and I decided he needed strong colours.
A good thing I made my layout early because my brother came to help putting together my Expedit. Thanks to his wife we managed to get it right. I am very proud of myself for doing the drawers all by myself.

I did clean and organize my room last night, but I still have some organizing left to do. Even with a lot of new shelving there is still not enough space. But, the most important thing is to know where to find what I need, and easy access to my storage albums and category drawers.
Kristian and his dad came to see us on their way home from the doctor. Young Kristian had an unpleasant meeting with a table and needed some stitching.

He was a trooper about it all. At least he was doing fine after digging into my chocolate stash…If he is anything like his dad, this will not be the last time he needs stitches.
I had to document the first stitches, and since Designer digital launched Cathy Zielske`s first layered templates today I just had to buy that one. I did try to resist, but I am weak when it comes to CZ`s design.

Template – Cathy Zielske. Paper – Bohemian kit, Mindy Terasawa.
Loved working with this template. Changing the Here & Now title to the Norwegian Her & Nå probebly would be the right thing to do but it did not look so good…:) And Here & Now is pretty universal and understood by everyone.
At last – todays Load layout. Yes I am early. You know – the to do list is next.

Snapshots from the window. I have had those photos on my desk for some time now. They are not the best shots, but they do tell a story. She may consider her self to be a good doll mother, but getting the mail is more important. She is a persistent young girl – I will giver her that…
Now – the to do list…

…with the name I will never learn. Me: The Abridged Version – I don`t know what it means and I have no idea how to pronounce it. That don`t stop me for signing up for the class at Big Picture Scrapbooking. What ever Cathy is teaching – I want to learn. The workshop is inspired by Amy Krouse Rosenthal`s Encyclopedia of an Ordinary Life. Even more words I don`t understand. But I was lucky and found the book in one my book clubs; with a uncertain delivery date…But that is okay, the class don`t start before September.
I spent most of my evening organizing my Master Project List for my new and improved life.

Going over every room writing down how I want to improve them. When I was done I was a little disappointed. I had expected it to be a very long list. It was rather short. So – did I sensor my needs and wants to avoid a lot of work? I think I did. I have made new list and I am starting over tomorrow!

… sunshine. Yes – it is May.

Day 14 - Load May 09
Since Cathy Zielske`s class: Everyone can write a little started today, scraplifting was the easy choice for my Load-page. I found this cute layout created of séverine. Done in a few minutes and I love it.
Still no new baby, but the kids are doing fine. They are so tired after spending a whole day outside that they need to be kept awake after they come home. That`s the grandparents job (while daddy take a nap). Life is challenging.

Blowing bubbles is always a winner.
I have enjoyed my 54 minutes watching Cathy Zielske`s video in her new class this evening. She is brilliant as always. Learning how to microblog is a challenge I am looking forward to. And I like getting to know all these wonderful girls from all over the world.

…we have a two year old in the family. The family celebrated yesterday, but I am sure he spent the day in kindergarten with a crown on his head.

He knows all about gifts...

He is SO ready to blow the candles. (And so is his sister...)
Since it is Kristian`s big day I had to make the Load – page about him today. I used a sketch from Cathy Zielske`s class. Fast and simple. (And cute).

I am still doing my “home work” for my Get Organized – Be Inspired. Doing this third layout we were to approach with; Product – photo – tool – design – story. That was easy since most of the time my product is paper. I love this paper from 7Gypsies but I have never used it before. Happy about my choice and the rest was piece of cake.

I got so exited about Kolette Hall posting the Pre Work projects for the class at BPS tonight that I almost forgot blogging. The albums, the templates are so beautiful. I can`t wait to get started. Sometimes it is difficult to find all the products needed. I know we can substitute, but it is nice to have the products found on the supply list. And Kolette, being the great designer she is, creates beautiful things with them.
I did work on this weeks sketches for the DYL class, both of them. Almost finished the first one and I picked the photos for the second. Then my printer stopped cooperating. So this is just a little sneak peak.

I had problems deciding how to match this wedding photos with card-stock. I better sleep on this big decision:)

…but, there was a moment there when I wasn`t sure. I have not been out and looked over the place yet. It did sound like there was something moving around last night. Hopefully it was nothing important. I woke up early this morning and I did one more attempt on Cathy`s sketch. I could not decide what paper to use so I decided to go with the cardstock.

I better hit the shower. I am on my way home to Lyngstad to get the car ready for the winter. Always have to do that in the last minute. Jan has offered to change my tires today and I have a dinner invitation at my brothers house. I haven`t seen the kiddies for almost a month, and Jan tells me Kristian is becoming quite a talker now.

…and then it is back to wintertime. I have been waiting for that extra hour sleep. Last week – I could have spent in bed - sleeping. I am not complaining because I am not allowed to complain. I am just stating the fact that I am tired. We have had bad weather through out October, and now we are waiting for another storm to hit. I saw this photo in facebook today, and it shows how it feels in this part of the world right now

A good thing there is heat in my room and that Cathy Zielske keep uploading her great sketches to get me going. In one of those honest moments I have to admit that I destroyed five photos today – cutting the wrong size, but who cares about that. I finally managed to get my page done.

Kristian -tasting something else than breast feeding for the first time.
I did regret the birds, but they do look a little cute in real life. At least our baby boy is cute. Okay, I am going to bed because I do not have the nerves to stay up in this wind….

I spent some time reading up on some blogs I like to follow. It never stops to amaze me how many creative and smart people there is in the world. I can spend hours reading. Just wish I had it in me to follow up on all the ideas this is giving me. But rather than doing something, I seem to consume the ideas and forget all about it. And I move on….
I have been reading up on Jason Hall`s blog today. He is an excellent storyteller and he always has a deeper meaning with his story and in the end he has a word of advice. The best thing about it, I get what he is saying. That does not mean I am capable of follow up on his advice but sometimes during the day I can hear his voice in the back of my head.
Jason Hall was teaching along his wife Kolette in the Big Picture Scrapbooking class; the art of becoming more…, earlier this year. So when I say I can hear his voice, I really can. Coming January 1Th the two of them start a new class that will run through the whole year. I think this will be an amazing journey for everyone joining them.
You can see the class here: A life well crafted at BPS….and go read Jason Hall`s blog.
And then there is some scrapbooking. I finished the second assignment for week 3 – DYL.

…before going to bed. There is a storm coming in so I am going to bed before I get worried about the roof. I am asleep the same minute the head hit the pillow – and hopefully we still have a roof in the morning. Just going to post my second – week 3 layout – in my DYL class, then it is off to bed.
