…yes, that is how I feel at the moment. Shimelle`s class: Bogging for scrapbookers started today, and I just received the first prompt. I have never met Shimelle but looking at her five-page long prompt you might be led to believe she is a talker. On second thought I am sure she is. I knew that and her long and interesting prompts is the main reason why I love her classes. She may give you directions but she also give you choices.
Why join a class to learn how to blog and scrapbook? I will have an honest moment here – I would join any class Shimelle is teaching. But since I am blogging and scrapbooking I decided that this could be fun and educational.
I started blogging and scrapbooking at the same time. For a short period of time I was blogging in Norwegian and English. At least once a week I consider the possibilities of blogging in Norwegian. That would have made things so much easier for me, but on the other hand it would be so much harder. I am a talker too and I would never know when to stop writing. And – I tend to feel strongly about things. Putting your self out there in public with adrenalin pumping through your body is not a wise thing to do. I would be out there - feeling strong about politic, faith, public transportation, taxes and what ever pissed me off that day. I better go with English and scrapbooking – for now.
When this class was announced I thought: Yes, it`s time to rework this blog. After reading Shimelle`s prompt today I have reconsidered. I will use this three weeks to work on the content. I need to decide if I want to keep blogging? Do I want to go on blogging in English? Do I want a public blog? What do I want to blog about? A lot to think about.
Enough about blogging:) I am busy working with Ali Edwards class at Big Picture Scrapbooking. I am so grateful that the class is strong on content – more than making pages. Ali Edwards has a strong message and I need a week to take it all in. I love the templates she is giving us to add a lot of text to our pages and her brushes and word art are beautiful. I took five and did some free writing to make these to. I used Ali`s English word art on one and made one with Norwegian words.
Okay – Ali`s word art look better than mine. I don`t give a shit about the fact that not every Norwegian know the meaning of the words. The kids will know. I hope – because I will keep using her word art. It is so pretty.
Back to Sunday Adventures.
Baby Elin and grandma love each other and they spend a lot of time together. I look at this photo and I just know – that even if grandma wants to pull up her roots and build a new home for her self out here – she will never be able to move away from this girl. A 20 minutes drive will be to far away. So, Kjellaug – what are you going to do with this place? A nice spot to put up a tent?
