…what do you save? I have been thinking about this today and I can`t think of one thing – except the Visa-card. I can`t think of one thing that isn`t replaceable. Sure – I would hate to loose the photos but I honestly believe that life would go on without them. Of course, most photos are backed up all over the place. Incurance would cover all my losses. You could be fooled to believe that I am attached to my things but I am not. The thing is – I am not a shopper. If I have the thing I need to function, I`m happy. I do not have to like it or love it, if I can use it – I`m good.
Then again, there are a few things…I don`t need, love or even like.
Like this one. A gift from my mother back in 1986. The first time she visited me after I moved to Oslo she travelled to Sweden with my aunt. I was home expecting a gift. At least I was sure I would get cheap cigarettes. Nope. She came home with this thing…Sure it is cute, but it don`t fit anywhere. Sure it is cute with a green plant on the top, but that green plant dies after two days. I ditch it, I misplace it and it keep popping up. So…maybe I do love it – a little.
