May 17 1814 men came together at Eidsvoll and signed our declaration of Independence. Still we had three Kings in the year of 1814. We had a Danish King, a Norwegian King and in the end we had a Swedish King….until 1905.

Anyway, at May 17 we raise our flag and walk the streets…
I cannot remember it so green ever at May 17. Spring came early this year.
My favourite girls properly dressed in their “bunad” ready to walk in the parade.
And Kristian – my favourite boy.
Now – someone has to walk in front of every parade. Although I am questioning the choice of this guy…
