Monday again and scrapping…

didn`t have any idea of what to do to day. Kristin L gave us a challenge at Scrapping.no this evening. a photo-challenge; to post a photo of an animal before 30.04. me – i can not wait that long. i just had to do something with “my birds” right away:

Sunday dinner….

Elin Marie is helping her grandfather making dinner. she likes helping out in the kitchen. her mother tells that she has been running around with a cloth to help with the cleaning since she could walk. even in kindergarten she can be found in the bath, doing some cleaning. NOW; like most grandparents, they make the time to include her in making dinner, and she loves that they do.

there must be tons of photos of this girl on the kitchen counter. it`s her favourite place to be.look how happy she is… and to be given a bowl of water is making everything perfect.

instead of going to work early this morning i got busy playing with my paper and photos. i feel bad if i don`t make something every day. the habit i made during the load challenge in January still makes an influence. maybe that is a good thing. i don`t know… i have been reading a lot in Stacy Julian`s blog these last days. she is talking a lot about finding the balance in scrap-booking and life. that is something to think about….. when i am reading her input i am so close to understand what she is saying. then….a few minutes later…what did she mean???

i get back in and read it all over again, and the same thing happens all over…well, i just have to keep reading until it make sense.

From The Atlantic Road…

this is taken a few days before Easter. i did not know that we could see this tiny island from The Atlantic Road. now i know. wish i had the time and energy, and some good weather, so i could go there this summer. must be 35 years since i was there. it is a very special community and it`s worth a visit.

i did make a layout to day, but it went crazy in the scanning, so i better just keep that one to my self. this evening i just played around with some ideas. we have a cabin that is up for rent this summer, mostly targeting the German market. so i am trying to make some information for the guests. it is challenging. i really don`t know what they would like to be informed about. ah well… there is a lot of tourist-information about this destination in German. i just have to collect it.

wish i had something creative to show for myself this evening, but i don`t – i think. well…i have this page that i made of baby Elin and her grandmother blowing bubbles. the photo is from April last year. Elin loved blowing bubbles. (she and her grandfather – both).

that didn`t help much. my scanner are still making strange colors.

Jeg måtte bare lage en side med apekatten BM hadde med seg til Kristian, den var så søt med dåreblikket sitt. Var akkurat ferdig da jeg oppdaga den fine baksiden papiret hadde. Kom til å tenke på et innlegg på Scrapping.no jeg akkurat har lest.Så ideen om å bruke baksiden fikk jeg av @nita på forumet. 2 i en.

Someone is becoming….

a flirt.

it seems our family got a new flirt on our hands. baby Kristian can spend a hole meal at the end of the table, flirting.  if someone keeps flirting with him, he is fine. it`s so easy to make him smile. i had to make a layout of him and his grandma, they look so sweet together.

Sunday he just fell asleep on his fathers lap.

poor baby….we just lost him on the floor…

Når katten er borte danser musene på bordet. Gutten fikk i alle fall lura seg til en liten høneblund. Det var kanskje like greit for storesøster svinga tryllestaven på kjøkkenet og da er det greit å ha all oppmerksomhet på henne. I dag var det hardt å møte hverdagen. Mobilvekkinga var rå i dag tidlig klokka fem. Blir nok tidlig kveld i dag. På mange måter greit å møte hverdagen igjen. I Bud har vi hatt en utrolig vakker dag. Kald fin dag med masse sol. Klokka er halv sju og enda skinner sola. Gleder meg til å stille klokka frem en time til helga. Til tross for snøen – snart er det vår.

the snow…

Elin Marie is skiing for the first time. finally she got to try the new ski her grandfather got for her. she wasn`t so happy about her new shoes. so  she didn`t want to use the skies . now, it seems everything is ok.

UPPS… maybe a little more practise…

thank god… there are other ways to enjoy the snow…..

One hole day…

to do what ever i want. haven`t done that much. just a cople of layouts of baby Elin. i should have been working on my albums or been at work. but, here i am , doing just what i want. it is good to be the one to decide. to tell the truth, i am mostly looking at what others are doing. but, here is one of Elin Marie at the school`s playground the other day.;

Noen dager før påske hadde vi besøk av Jorunn. Det har vi gleda oss til lenge. Jorunn er fadder på Elin Marie. På grunn av jobb hadde ikke Jorunn anledning til å komme til dåpen, så disse to hadde ikke møtt hverandre før. Så det var på tide at de fikk hilst på hverandre. Og her var det kjærlighet fra første stund. ( gaver er også grei smøring)

Jorunn is bringing gifts….that is good. not that i have any idea of what that monster is…..

..gifts or no gifts, looks like they do like each other.

Easter is….

…

almost over. just one day left.

Påska ble ikke helt som ventet. Dagene før påske ga løfter om vår. Men slik skulle det ikke ble. Her åpnet himmelens sluser seg og kong vinter fikk slippe til. Det har snødd og snødd. Onsdagskvelden fikk jeg hyggelig påskebesøk. Etter tre år var det veldig hyggelig å få BM på besøk.

BM is bringing gifts and made a friend for life. Elin Marie was happy about receiving a doll she could play with in the baht-tub. and guess who had to have a bath … baby Kristian got a monkey with soft fur and he loves to cuddle his furry toys. safe to say…BM made their day...

….to be seated beside baby Elin during dinner can be a shocking experience. she eats everything. she just grabs the ribs and dig in. there is nothing she don`t eat. and that is a good thing.( i hope).

 ….baby Kristian is a growing boy. he is walking now…-almost…. and he loves his grandma. our two baby’s both wants their share. and they are carefully monitoring the attention they get from the family.

someone actually had the fantasy to build a snowman up on the roof of the school. i just had to show you that one.

that was the Easter highlights. we did not expect the snow that came. BM left yesterday. the plane couldn`t get down  because of the snow. they had to get on a bus to the next airport. she still wasn`t home when i heard from her close to midnight.

Og enda snør det. Ser ut som om vi skal få hele vinteren på en gang. Jeg koser meg her ved kjøkkenbordet så her kommer det ingen klager. Er bare lykkelig for at jeg ikke skal ut med bil. Ikke har jeg tenkt å måke trappa heller. Skal bare sitte her og kose meg mens vaskemaskina gjør jobben ei stund. Har tenkt å scrappe litt da. Har ikke gjort noe hele påska. Jeg har sittet to dager og sett på at BM har laga kort. Og så har jeg hjulpet henne i gang med shoppingen. Gjennstår å se om dette vennskapet består ut over våren. ( når lommeboka hennes er sånn passe pint)

it`s Easter. five days of peace and quiet. just doing what ever i feel like. i love the colors and flowers that Easter brings. to lit the candles and just relax. i have a lot that i want to do, but time is limited as always. hopefully we will have some good weather so we can spend some time outside.

last night my friend arrived, to spend the Easter with me. we haven`t met since Easter 2005, so i have been looking forward to seeing her again. it was early morning before we turned in, so we had a late breakfast. BM got a cold and she is taking a nap now. that gives me a little time to play around here.

BM was bringing  gifts , so i will be alright while she sleeps.

what to do? drink, eat or read. or, i will play around with the stash i got in the post last night.
