Load day 9…

Template – Cathy Zielske. Paper – Jessica Sprague.

He did not want to put the crown on for show. Grandma had to try every trick in the book to get a shot.

Load before going to bed and Load when I wake up in the morning. Now it is time to get ready to cross the fjord for a meeting – before going in to work in the evening. Phu…

Load day 8…

February 8, 2010 · Leave a Comment

…One week down – three to go.

Template – Cathy Zielske. Paper and stash – Katie Pertiet.

She is the perfect big sister. It`s the third time she is helps blow the candle on his birthday cake and it is fun to see that he waits for her to go first. Just in time he pulls back and let her take the lead. I do hope they keep working together as they grow up.

What else? Well…beside work I am doing fine with my diet.3 kg down 4 kg to go. This is where things usually starts to slide so I have to watch out this week:) And now it is time for bed again. Yes – I do live an exciting life:)

Working Sunday…

February 7, 2010 · Leave a Comment

…yes, even Sundays are for working. Even though I do feel it was a total waste. A total wast and I regret every minute. But it`s done and I did it with a twist:) Hey – it is Sunday, I can add a twist – even to an action plan. I have to admit that I did watch the Norwegian Grand Prix contest. I don`t mean anything about the songs but I love the look of the boy winning.

Didrik Sollie-Tangen. Isn`t he a cutie? I didn`t know we had so cute boys in Norway:)

I had planned to do some paper scrapbooking today but there wasn`t enough time so I had to resort to a digital template from Cathy Zielske. They are the best templates anyway.

Paper Jessica Sprague.

I am bad today. Combining the Load page with my weekly gratitude page:) Well, sometimes there isn`t enough hours in a Sunday. This last week was almost all work and no play. Except Kristian`s birthday party on Tuesday. So – this week I am most grateful for being a “super-aunt” to three beautiful kids and for my sister-in-law.

Can`t say I`m ready for a new week but who cares about that. Monday morning will be here bright and early anyway. I just realized that the Olympic Winter Games starts next weekend. That means the customers will come in shopping during commercials and TV and radio will be full of sport – again. Didn`t we just have an OL?

If I go to bed now…

February 5, 2010 · 3 Comments

…my wake up call might get me out of bed in five hours. Do I want to go to bed now? No.

Paper and elements – Tangie Baxter.

I just had to make my load page before going to bed because I know I will be less inspired when I come home from work tomorrow evening. A long week and finally weekend. Our prompt from Lain was to make a self-portrait and to tell something about our skills as a photographer. That is easy. I like to think that I`m great with the camera and as long as nobody tells me different I`m fine. Kidding. I am no good with the camera and I don`t care. Still – I want to learn, and I do try…again and again. The problem is that I never put it on the top of the list.

Friday again…

…and it is Load day 5.

Paper and Bruses – Karla Dudley and some Ali Edwards.

I thought I could make a post before going to work this morning but it is only half an hour until I have to go – and I still have to shower. Realising that, my brain froze up. So – I better hit the shower instead:)

I just had to play with the butterflies because this winter is long and spring seems so far away.

Load – day 3…

Paislee - Pressplate Nr.13

Like most three-year olds he wasn`t that happy to discover a sweater inside the wrapping. The women in the family were most grateful for great grandma Karens knitting. But, I don`t think Kristian cared about that. Uhu – no toy in the gift!  He did not care for the money either. Only toys for the boy.

Hummer and brownies…

February 2, 2010 · 2 Comments

…makes a 3-year-old happy!

Sad to report that the brownies also made his old great aunt happy): So much for dieting…Oh well – tomorrow is another day.

He was a happy boy. I wish he would remember this moment when he is an adult. And that is the main reason I love scrapbooking. That is my contribution to the future. The layout that will find its way to Kristian`s album will keep the moment forever.

Digital elements - Paislee Press

Happy Birthday Kristian!

Load day 1…

February 1, 2010 · 4 Comments

…and I made it. Thanks to the difference in the time zone I do have a few hours extra when I  need it. I do have loads of photos I want to scrapbook but February  will be a lot busier that I thought it would be so I will have to play it by ear. Inspiration is necessary and today that was easy. I am dieting and Monday morning means I have to weigh in. And to keep myself motivated I made a page for my goal binder. See – inspiration.

Paper and stash – Karla Dudley.

The photo is the view from my step machine yesterday morning. I don`t have to use the step machine today since I spent the last 13 hours at work – on my feet:) Now – if I could master some energy to do the dishes before going to bed I would be just fine…
